Have Fun!

Roverpass ask us to have five rules, so it is now mandatory for you and your family to enjoy your stay. Thank you!

"Red Solo Cup" Rule

Big Buck Resort is a family-friendly resort. Part of our mission is to provide families with a safe environment where they can make memories that last a lifetime. This is why we have created the "Red Solo Cup" rule. If you are drinking outside of your tent, camper, or cabin, your alcoholic drinks must be in a can or koozie. We appreciate your help with our mission!

Pet Restrictions

Pets are allowed on property, but are not allowed in buildings. All pets must be on a leash as per Tennessee state law. Please repect others' animals and do not pet someone else's pet without permission. According to federal law service animals are allowed in buildings- never tell someone their service animal can not be somewhere and never pet the animal.

Quiet Time

We want everyone to enjoy their time while they stay, so we ask our guest to honor the Resort's quiet time, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Check-in and Check-out

Guests can check in after 2 p.m. for a campsite or after 3 p.m. for a cabin. Check out is noon, 12 p.m., on the departure date.

Booked a stay in a cabin in April 2022 over the phone with the resort and received confirmation email for my October dates. Showed up in October only to be told I had no reservation and they could not accommodate us. Our stay was supposed to be 5 nights and they reached out on our second day to tell us a cabin had opened up because the renters had left early due to bedbugs and asked if we wanted it. Needless to say, we didn't.

The place is in a decent location. Once I arrived it appeared I was in a place stuggling to stay afloat. Roadways are in a state of disrepair. I do not stay at my RV during to daytime. At night, I am there. On Friday, there were people in a cabin with amplified music and an attempt at karaoke. The amplifier was turned on after the quiet hour time. Owners unresponsive to calls. Amplified music and yelling continued well after midnight.

Picked this place because it was in the coast to coast networks. It sounded really good.. until we got here. There was a freeze warning and they turned off our water and disconnected our water hose without telling us and we were in the RV. We have a heated water hose, there was no need for turning off water. They did it to everyone, and didn’t tell anyone. Almost burned up the water pump on my washer. This was on top of putting us in a spot that was to small for our trailer. No one is ever in the office. It is always closed. Do not recommend anyone staying here.

The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly. The outside grounds beautiful. We had cabin 1. It was outdated. Bugs and debris on window units inside. Paint peeling in bed room. Outside screened in area! Window boards rotten . Stove-old then eyes rusty, drawer on stove had old burnt on something. Refrigerator very clean When open front door, had to push hard due to rug.

This is a very gorgeous spot, also a very nice and relaxing place to camp with the family. The staff was very nice and helpful. The sites were rather spacious and I liked the array they had. The whole place was nicely maintained. There were a ton of great amenities we got that gave us more than we needed. The activities were a lot of fun and very relaxing for all of us. It was nice to be out in the country and see all the wonderful sights and wildlife. The location was perfect and it really got us away from everything which was definitely needed. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
