Second time we have stayed at this RV Park. Great place to stay. Friendly owners and staff. Nice sized level, clean lots. Laundry on site that is reasonable. Well stocked convenience store with delicious chicken that they will deliver to your site. Can get your vehicle and propane tanks filled at one spot. Easy to get from I40, but can't hear a lot of the noise. If you are heading out west on I40, this is the place to stay!

Great place for an overnight stay, nice park....very nice people, they impressed me by how friendly they were.....we would definitely stop here again....and they have boasted chicken!!! Due to bad weather on the road we got there too late to get the chicken but next time I intend to have it.

We have stayed at Bob Cat 3-4 times previously and always enjoyed our stay. The park is quiet and no road noise. I especially like they offer dinner there and deliver to your camp site. We are traveling that way again in May, August and hope to stay there again.

Clean, pleasant campground with a friendly staff. WiFi at our site (33) was good for basic usage (email, weather checks, etc) but wouldn’t support streaming. That was fine, since it motivated us to get outside and enjoy their walking trail. A nice stop on our way eastward.

Very friendly owners and workers. Good stop off Rt 40 but not close enough to be over bearing with noise. Had the chicken dinner they make in the store. Would stay again. Lots of permanent peeps but not messy or “looking too permanent “.

Great location. Excellent service. We loved that they would deliver dinner to your site and had breakfast sandwiches available early in the morning.

Very nice, clean, easy RV Park. Doug greeted us at the convenience store with a map, menu and treats for the dogs. He escorted us to our overnight site and made sure everything was in proper working order. I saw random patrol to ensure everyone was in good shape. This park has a nice fenced in dog “park” and we met some of our neighbors as the “kids” played. Our dogs saw Cows roaming for the first time. While the Wi-Fi was not strong, I switched to my T-Mobile iPhone hotspot and it worked great for our streaming box. Doug at the store even offered to deliver dinner from the menu, as long as the order was in by 6pm. (It was a Sat. Night, so hours might change). No bathroom or shower, so come prepared, it’s very nice for an overnight.

Very strange experience. Pulled into the campground not realizing we should have stopped at the convenience store to check in. Once we saw there was no office to check in at in the campground area we drove up the steep exit/entrance drive. However while driving around the campground to the exit we noticed a white suv driving fast and almost pulling out in front of us. At the convenience store while trying to find a place to park the white suv cut us off and a man jumped out red faced and very angry. He accused us of speeding through the campground and said “we don’t run this kind of place!” Told him I did not see a speed limit sign and were not going fast. Also not a person was seen at the campground outside or walking around. The man yelled for a minute and when I told him we were suppose to stay here for the night and didn’t realize the convience store was the office he walked away. After that uncalled for , bizarre and aggressive encounter we decided not to stay the night there. The man was a bully and overreacted . If we were going over the speed limit it wasn’t by much and not because we’re were some out of control 60 something year old campers! Not stopping at the the convience store was an accident not a malicious act. My suggestion, tread lightly around this campground owner

Campground Response

Unfortunately, we received a call from not one, but two of our guests staying down in the park (that do have small children and pets) about your driving, which is what alerted us to you being down in the park in the first place and we also then observed you driving over the posted speed limit ourselves. There are three speed limit signs along the path you drove, not to mention the extremely large "RV Park guests please check in at convenience store" sign that you also drove right past and apparently "did not see." Folks are welcome to read every other review (100% positive reviews until yours) and decide if we are the right place for them to stay.

Very nice people and helpful people. The campsite was very clean and well kept. The RV spot was easy in and out with all hookups convenient. There was a beautiful walking trail that we took our dog on and they also had a nice fenced area for dogs as well. The fried chicken was also very good and they delivered it to our RV.

If there was a 10 for a rating that is what I would give. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have been at. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a nice sized lot and level. Wifi was good. They had a dog park and play ground for kids. Our dog loved walking on their trail, which was well maintained. Also impressed that they had a storm shelter. Their convenience store was well stocked. Take advantage of their boasted chicken. It is delicious and they will even deliver to your camper! Their breakfast sandwiches are also very good! They are very competitive on their fuel prices and also fill LP tanks. This campground will be one we will stay at again. Thank you for everything!
