A truly beautiful place to camp. We will be back to camp again next year. Our only issue was a neighboring campsite did not contain their dogs. Our dogs were contained and did not appreciate the other dogs coming into their area.

Claussen Springs never disappoints. Beautiful! Park Ranger was very nice asking if anything was needed. Great place to camp.

What a beautiful, peaceful campground. Only issue is it would be helpful if the trails were maintained better. A lot of weeds made for a very skinny trail

Love this best kept secret campground. I have come here about a half dozen times over the years and never disappointed. Campground is immaculate, campsites are generous in size and you get both sun and shade. The creek that runs through the main sites is such a nice ambiance and adds to its total charm. Shower house with nice warm water. You can order your wood ahead of time and it’s already waiting for you. Love this place and will be a favorite always. Campground maintenance supervisor is top notch and extremely accommodating. Kayaking on the reservoir was fabulous. The beach is spectacular and always well groomed and maintained.

Quiet hidden gem. We loved our campsite. Love being next to the stream and being nested in the trees.

We got to Clausen Springs about 2:30pm for check in the day before Labor Day. We noticed a camper had taken our site we had booked online. Scott told us he would move us to site 8, as it was better for tents vs. campers. I hadn't been to Clausen's in 8 years, so I took it as a sign. The site was amazing, as it had more room, and was more private. We had the best time, even with the two small storms that rolled through. We have plans to come back and make it a yearly thing. Thank you so much for making our stay even better than we had pictured.

A hidden gem that we bypassed thinking it wouldn’t meet camping expectations. Wow, were we wrong. I almost hate to give it 5 Stars because then everyone will know about it. Be prepared to find it difficult to get reservations. The only “downside” is that campers can reserve spots for only one night which is a disadvantage for those who want to reserve it for 2+ nights and enjoy the whole weekend because going for only one night isn’t advantageous for those who aren’t local. I also think it’s so popular due to how well it is maintained and has clean bathrooms/showers so kudos to their staff!

Nice, quiet campground. Bathrooms could have been cleaned up more, but we have stayed at this campground several times in the past with no issues.

Been going here for years. Very nice clean place. Lots of families relaxing and enjoying themselves. Pets welcomed, on a leash and cleaned up after. Some spots are more spacious than others, but still a nice place to camp. Camp host was very nice. This seems to be more of a weekend place, so if you’re looking for a quiet place during the week, this is it! We’ve been here during the week, and we were the only camper in the 12 spot modern area. Heard they added more spots! Don’t hesitate to book a spot!

beautiful place, but bathrooms had no toilet paper and to shower the water was freezing cold.

I was very sad we didn’t have access to any water for our camper…. It’s a beautiful area and the camp hosts were nice. Plus, it’s odd there isn’t a one way route for the road… what happens when two campers meet up? It’s difficult to back up on the narrow roads.

This is my favorite campground. Always peaceful and quiet! Spacious sites! And the camp host is great!
