Left 4 days into our scheduled 3 week stay. Very dirty, violent guests. Other campers walking around in our site after we went to bed!

This is an okay spot for an overnight. The owner, Monty is really nice and very responsive if you need anything. It has a ton of potential but could use some TLC.

Location is great but the park needs a lot of work. A few of the full time spots are less desirable to look at. Has bathrooms but no other additional amenities.

Very quiet place! Owner was nice. The full time residents were all neighborly. As for the grounds it needed some better up keep. It rained and our pull threw spot had a lot of standing water and grass needed mowing. We didn't try fishing in the pond but threw some bread in it to test and no activity so I can't tell you if it's really stocked. Overall not horrible but priced a little high for as run down as it is. It was the first time using our trailer so didn't know what to expect. Don't go by the pics on Web site not very accurate. Ok place for overnight or two. Not much to do at the campground.Didnt use the bath house so can't say anything about it. It was good enough to test trailer out. I tried to give an even all around review it's a 2-3 star place

Not the nicest looking place but for what we were looking for it was fine. I did get stung by a wasp while hooking up the power and then the power didn’t work so I called the the guy was there in a couple minutes. He had to replace the breaker and after that we didn’t have any issues. I was traveling with two other campers and the did not have any issues. A no frills type of campground.

I have never left a review this negative before but this is NOT a campground for overnight or short term stays. The bath house was disgusting. The mens side only had one working toilet (out of three), one had been completely removed and but replaced so there was just a hole in the floor. The ceiling over the showers had fallen in and never been repaired with exposed wiring just hanging there. We would not even let the kids take showers in the morning there. This was the last night of a five week cross country trip and it was hands down the worst camping experience on the trip.DO NOT STAY AT THIS CAMPGROUND!

The campground was horrible, extremely outdated, tight and not big rig friendly. We refused to stay. Pictures did not reflect the actual space.

We pulled into the RV "Resort"?? On 6/19 and WOW were we disappointed. The pictures on the website must have been taken years ago because this was not what we experienced. We advised the office we were not staying and that we would be requesting a refund!! We thought we booked through then but paid through Rover! This VERY UPHAPPY customer along with friends we met halfway between IL & TN WITH THE INCONVENIENCE and MISREPRESENTATION of the park! I wish I could add pictures!!

We stayed here for 1 night. OK for a stop over, but it’s mostly permanent residents and not really a vacay place. There’s nothing to do, no fire pit, no picnic tables (the camp host did drag one from another site for us), lots of dogs running free, (you know what comes along with that!) and trash everywhere. The dumpster was overloaded so trash blows around. Our site was full of dog poop and little pieces of every kind of trash imaginable, paper, metal, food, etc. I couldn’t take our puppy out for long because she eats everything and I was worried she would get sick. They offered free Wi-Fi which was nice, but as people came home from work and school it became unusable. Since we had to pay in advance over the phone we stayed, but if we would have seen this place first we would have driven on.

This place is hands down the dirtiest place we have ever stayed. We drove in and there were dilapidated RVs in the park. Most of the sites in the park were occupied by full time RVers. The RVs were old and not kept in good condition. They also had belongs strewn about their sites haphazardly. One night we came back to the site discovering the entry to the park was surrounded by police cars, ambulences, and firetrucks. It seems their was a fire at the resort. The positives: 1) it was quiet and 2) if the owner started from scratch, removed all RVs, cleaned it up, and didn't allow unkempt sites at the rv park, it could be a nice, small park. It is in a nice woodsy setting. Needless to say, we called our next stop and left this park a day early.

Terrible place. I would not stay here again. The park is full of drug addicts that have lived there for over 5 years and there is constantly traffic coming in and out to buy drugs. Very sketchy and the park is ran down and disgusting.

Pictures definitely need updating. This is not how it looka at all. There are many long term campers here. The shower houses are gross and need a lot of attention. It is quiet but thats about it. The pond has some decent fish. Some of the people that live there nice, its just definitely not what we were expecting based on the pictures.

I would say 3.5 star review. The campground is in okay condition and offers a pond for fishing. The pond however is pretty shallow, at least 3/4 of it. There is a section around the dam area that's not shallow. The sites are level and the people were friendly. Just needs more attention to overall appearance, overall we had a good time.

We absolutely loved staying here! The cottage was huge! I was quite surprised at the size it! We loved every feature that it had. The bed was so comfortable and the tub in the bathroom had jets! We will most definitely be staying there again the next time we travel to Kentucky!

Let’s just say the pictures on the website do not reflect the actual setting. Lots of derelict long term campers. Trash needs to be picked up. One long term camper just up and left and left piles of trash at the site. Including the honey pot🤮We made the best of it since we were the only campers in the park. No one bothered us and the site was level. We did utilize the pond for fishing. This was a beautiful park at one time and it is a shame that it has lost its appeal. Your company needs to come look at the property and make updates if you are going to associate your name with the campground. I will definitely do more research on the campgrounds you advertise before booking a reservation.

The stay was great for what we needed! With two kids, two adults, and a dog, we fit just fine in the 2 queen room and got upgraded to a kitchenette. The bathroom space was tight, but I also had two kids that felt they needed to be in there whenever I was. I only have three small complaints: 1) the shower curtain stuck to you in the shower and somehow also let water out, 2) there was a dog left out off-leash that came to see our dog when we got out of the car, 3) some folks decided to shoot off commercial-grade fireworks right in front of our cabin at 11 pm. It scared the dog (the kids didn’t wake up), but it didn’t make me feel safe. All in all, we’ll probably stay again if we can’t find something closer to my grandparents’ house (KY Lake Subdivision about 25 minutes away).

This was the second time we have stayed at this “resort” since it is close to KY Dam Marina. Upon arriving we were unable to locate the temporary office due to the previous one burning down. We were only given one key for a six person room. It seems like the management was not accustom to the roverpass website, when calling after reserving the room the person couldn’t tell me if the room was actually available or not. The kitchenette had limited supplies to cook with and our trash can was completely busted upon entering the room. The shower head was hanging out of the wall unsecured. Management approached multiple members in our room about things in an inappropriate manner. Just felt very unwelcome here and will plan to stay elsewhere next time.

Campground Response

Yes you did get a room that would accommodate six people, however if you look back at your reservation on RoverPass you will find you made it for two people with no pets. We try hard to accommodate all of our guest and would have put the couple that was next to you in another room had we known how many was going to be in your room. Sorry for seeming rude to you for pointing out how the reservation was made. Thank you for your stay.
