Easy immediate access to the Banks-Vernonia state trail. Family friendly (ex: playground on site, great swimming area (one located at the park, another within walking distance). Walking distance to multiply restaurants, along with pizza restaurant that delivers.

Awesome camp hosts! So helpful! Won't meet a nicer couple! They helped set up a tent and jump start a dead battery! Fun time!

Clean and quiet. However, absolutely no WiFi on more than half their sites, but “feel” free to sit out in front of the hosts site to use it. I work remotely and need WiFi. Won’t come back here.

We had a great time. The camp hosts are wonderful, the bathrooms are clean and it was in close proximity to everything in Vernonia and the Banks-Vernonia bike path. Awesome to walk to the fireworks from here on the 4th of July!

The host was knowledgeable about the area and was very friendly. Site 10 is in full sun. All sites were extremely close together. The truck from the site next to me was parked on the edge of my site. And cig and pot smoke was all around me as well as tv/music from other sites. And there was dog poop all over. even though the campground provides poop bags. The location is great because the bike trail passes through the park and the park is on a creek. And delicious restaurants and Pirate Bakery are a block away.

We came across this park unexpectedly on our way back home from the coast and had pulled in to use the restrooms and let our kids stretch their legs. The park host charged up to our car, unmasked, and started verbally assaulting my husband and threatening to call the police. I guess he’s not the right color to use your amenities. We will be avoiding your town; in future.

We reserved a spot online. Too easy! When Covid hit, the park called us directly and let us know how things were or werent affected due to changing social distancing issues. Very nice of them to do that. They also met us at our reserved site upon arrival and gave us another more up to date rundown of local policies. As far as how this place is run, great job! Our site we picked was close to the entrance. We had not stayed there before and did not know what to expect when reserving a spot, but it turns out, most of the park is easy back in access. large level pads everywhere from what I could see. Great park, great weather, and Vernonia is an easy few blocks away to walk to and enjoy.

We had a great time camping here (first time camping with our 1 year old). The camp host came and greeted us and was incredibly friendly.

The park could not be beat as a way to access the Vernonia to Banks bike trail. The shower could use an upgrade. The major point of frustration was the campers at a neighboring site stayed up talking and laughing till 2:00 am. I know that is a risk anytime you camp but clearly, no quiet hours were enforced. We appreciated the internet link.
